Art and Film Tour presents a movement being driven around the country by a Non-Profit from Austin Texas called South Austin Soul, documenting the Arts of influential Artists and Galleries about their true stories of acceleration. This journey will be a collaboration of sharing and selling art on the road with fellow artists geared by board member, film student, and artist, Alyssa Flores. Taking along with her on the road will be her first featured Artist, Joaquin Allen who is a Mixed Medium & Spray Paint Artist that paints reverse on glass in layers using water and found objects. Combined with Alyssa’s Oil & Spray Paint techniques on canvas, wood, & glass; these two adventure more into their joint works of art that also involves body painting, photography, and live interactive art for an intrigued audience. Alongside this project from the home base of Austin will be that of John Weber, President and ablazed Metal Artist with Amber Mitchell, our Treasurer and Yoga Instructor who will guide the Gallery Workshop space in Austin to continue the education and nourishment of the Austin Artists looking to build their own stories of success. Building the individual spaces that hold up the "We" as the Community will bring the ongoing inspirational life of art to those who seek it. We hope that these projects will broaden the stride of the art making practice and continue a bigger movement for a more prominent future for the arts
Our goals are to be involved with the influences of our own art making practices also to be creating pieces of art to sell, display, and to be showcased in states all around the country.
The captured story behind the “Souls on the Road” takes us along this project with these two ambitious Artists, Alyssa Flores & Joaquin Allen that have “The Brains & The Mouth” disclosure about the networking and collaboration that they ground themselves into. It’s like physics in every part that their combined 22 years have involved themselves in are within the people behind the Art & Music industry. Branching out from a Non-Profit Organization such as South Austin Soul, based in their home town Austin, Texas sets the world up for a chance of a life time to follow a monumental direction such as this.
As the Road Traveling Artists take their own journey into filming this adventure, they will also be filming the collaborations done with fellow artists along the way sharing the inside truth of what makes an artist today. Beginning with what’s between the passions and the tragedies that explore within our creative impacts to be developed; is also what will answer a meaningful life’s outlet throughout art, music, & performance. These stories will sharpen the minds towards how a dedicated path to being an artist can be possibly fulfill beyond the struggle to hold onto what you believe in. In turn bringing us closer involved with the community that supports it.
